These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lite Tuition LLC website and fundraising platform. By using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Lite Tuition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the platform. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.
Campaigns and fundraising
Students and organizations are responsible for the accuracy of their campaigns and for using funds raised toward the educational purposes described. Lite Tuition does not guarantee that any campaign will reach its goal.
We may review, and where necessary remove, campaigns that violate these Terms or applicable law.
Contributions and payments
Contributions are processed by third-party payment providers and are generally non-refundable except as required by law or stated at the time of giving. Applicable platform or processing fees will be disclosed during checkout.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose, and not to misrepresent yourself, infringe others' rights, or interfere with the operation of our services.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit. By posting it, you grant Lite Tuition a non-exclusive license to host, display, and promote your campaign in connection with operating the platform.
Intellectual property
The Lite Tuition name, logo, and platform are the property of Lite Tuition and protected by applicable laws. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lite Tuition is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
