Lite Tuition, LLC (“Lite Tuition,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website and platform, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our services you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account & campaign information — name, email, the school you attend or will attend, and the details you choose to share in your campaign.
- Contribution information — when you support a student, we and our payment processor collect the information needed to process the contribution. You may choose to give regularly, partially anonymously, or fully anonymously.
- Enrollment verification — to disburse funds to a school, we collect the enrollment-verification details required to send the money to the right place.
- Usage information — basic analytics such as pages visited and device/browser type, collected through cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
How we use information
- To operate campaigns, process contributions, and disburse funds directly to schools.
- To verify enrollment and prevent fraud or misuse of the platform.
- To communicate with you about your campaign, contributions, or support requests.
- To improve our website and services.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service — for example, with our payment processor to handle contributions, and with your school to apply funds to tuition. We may disclose information if required by law.
Students and minors
Campaigns may be created by a student or by the parent of a student. For younger students (including K–12), a parent or guardian should be involved in creating and managing a campaign. We do not knowingly collect more information from a child than is necessary to operate a campaign.
Data security & retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and retain it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Payment-card details are handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor, not stored by us.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can opt out of marketing emails at any time. To make a request, contact us at info@litetuition.com.
